Our Mission
Our mission is to assist, train and equip deserving marginalized individuals in our communities with basic knowledge and skills to uplift their livelihood and integration to mainstream society.
Our Vision
By 2028, Class 74 Association shall have produced professionals and skilled workers in various fields and shall have established a sizable number of Cottage Industry Cooperatives in Jolo and nearby Islands.
History
From the fires and ashes of the 1974 siege of the town of Jolo, we were then identified as the survivors, mainly because we survived the ordeal.
Notre Dame of Jolo Boy's and Girl's High Schools are parochial educational institutions based in Jolo, Sulu, Philippines. Both schools have students who come from the Muslim and Christian faiths, indicative of the constructive interfaith traditions of the society. Jolo and the nearby islands are one of the poorest in the country in terms of Per Capita Income.
We have then decided to unite and organize ourselves in pursuit of common goals.
'The Survivors’ will work endlessly to raise funds from donors who are willing to share our enthusiasm and vision.
To the visitors of this website, please assist us in our goals. Help the less fortunate brothers and sisters in Jolo and the neighboring islands by becoming part of our cause.

Our Programs
Medical Mission
Notre Dame of Jolo Class '74 members plan to collaborate with nonmember agencies to make a positive difference in the health and wellness of the vulnerable in our communities. Place and date to be determined. Volunteers and donations are very much appreciated.
Learn MoreScholarships
The group will work on giving scholarship grants to academically deserving recent high school graduates. We shall schedule aptitude tests every third Saturday of April. Graduating students of that school year, with an average GPA of 90 and higher, will be given the chance to take the scholarship test. Out-of-school youth and high school graduates who have never enrolled in any college or university, and with the GPA of 86 and higher, are also considered eligible to take said exam.

Free Medical services to be conducted by the group, once a year
This is an event organized by NDJ Committee every other year, the last of which was last September 2017. Being a grand home coming, it is expected to be a reunion of all class graduates, from way back 1962.
